Arkell Cottage

The Arkell Cottage is a beautiful property located on Lake McKellar which is available to rent for short or long term durations targeting those looking for a rustic experience with the amenities of the home.

The clients’ desire was to have a logo designed and their current website aesthetic updated. Their target audiences are families and groups who are looking to find a retreat during any season of the year.

During the client consultation, we established that the overall design should be a single page site, portraying a rustic look specifically with the use of wood elements. Colors, textures, and patterns were all chosen using inspiration from the cottage itself.

The logo was designed to contrast the light natural wood used throughout the website. The concept was to add some rustic charm while sticking with the color scheme and overall theme.
